ETTER ART PREMIUM SILICONE Shore 32
Etter Art PREMIUM SILICONE Shore 32 is a silicone rubber consisting of two components, a base and a catalyst. It is easy to process, has low viscosity and very good flow properties. Etter Art PREMIUM SILICONE Shore 32 reproduces details with a high degree of accuracy. It cures without reaction heat to form a resistant, elastomeric plastic. It is also extremely tear-resistant and flexible in use. After the curing process, it can be easily removed from the negative model thanks to its excellent non-stick properties.

Etter Art PREMIUM SILICONE Shore 32 is suitable for moulds that need to be detailed, sophisticated, durable and elastic. It is particularly suitable for impressions of all kinds, such as coasters, trays, candle holders, baking tins and much more. You can also use it for casting resin, soap casting, plaster or concrete. Etter Art PREMIUM SILICONE Shore 32 is also suitable for manual or machine processing.

Application Etter Type PREMIUM SILICONE Shore 32
Step 1: Mix the base and catalyst of PREMIUM SILICONE Shore 32 in a 1:1 ratio by weight. Pour the components into a suitable mixing cup.
Step 2: Stir the measured amount in the mixing cup. Stir slowly and carefully for 2-3 minutes; including the bottom and sides of the mixing cup, until a streak-free and even grey tone is achieved.
Step 3: Your mixture is now ready and you have 9-10 minutes to work with the silicone. After that, it will become too thick and begin to harden.
Step 4: You have prepared your mould beforehand, i.e. it has been dusted, degreased and is lying flat on your work surface. Pour the silicone into your mould from a height in a narrow stream. The height ensures that the result is as bubble-free as possible.
Step 5: Protect your mould from dust or other foreign objects by working in an environment that is as dust-free as possible. The curing time is one hour at a room temperature of 23 °C. The silicone can be removed from the mould after 3 hours.
